Along Came a Spider

I decided to start a blog of the books I am reading this year.  I love reading and always wish I had more time to do so, but with teaching and my master's classes it is difficult to find the time.  In this blog I will post the books I have read along with a review of each book.  In this way I also hope to keep track of how many books I read this year, and to finally get through my stacks of unread books.  My goal is to reach 100 books, hopefully that will happen.

Here we go--

First book of 2012:  "Along Came a Spider"  by James Patterson




I recently, last year, started reading James Patterson's mystery series.  My mom got me into his Women's Murder Club series and I love them.  They are not heavy mysteries and I really like that about them.  I only have books 8, 9, and 10 left in this series.  I figured I would try another series of his, the Alex Cross series, I just started this book and am on page 55.  So far it is great and I love the way he writes a piece of literature.  I also enjoy that the chapters in these books are only a few pages long.  I usually read right before bed so I can get in a full chapter or two without stopping in the middle of one.
